Pulse helps you answer one practical question: what is worth doing in your city now? It combines a checked event schedule with a small weekly edit. It does not pretend to know live crowds or every event in the city.
What the picks mean
Each week Pulse's AI editor reads every checked listing in the city and picks the outings most worth going to, for local character, timing, group appeal, and schedule clarity. A person reviews the list and can pull any pick. A pick is editorial judgment, not popularity, attendance, sponsorship, or a personalized prediction.
What gets checked
Event time, place, access, published status, and the official listing are reviewed from public sources. Each event shows when it was checked and links directly to the official page so you can confirm last-minute changes before leaving.
What the map does and doesn’t show
Map numbers are scheduled events in an area. They are not people, RSVPs, live attendance, popularity, or a crowd estimate. Each city edition has a boundary. A few clearly labeled nearby events may appear when they help a decision in that city.
Freshness and missing coverage
Pulse removes ended events from short-notice views like Tonight and warns when the latest source review is getting old. Missing dates stay missing. This early edition is intentionally incomplete and will not repeat old events to make the calendar look full.
Corrections
The official event page is the authority for a last-minute change. Pulse updates reviewed facts when official evidence changes. Anyone can email corrections@trypulse.city or use “Suggest a correction” on an event. Include what looks wrong; Pulse checks the report against current evidence before changing the city record. Organizers participating in the correction pilot can use organizer corrections for Raleigh or Charlotte.
Private by default
Interested events stay in the current browser or on your iPhone. Plan links work without an account, and Pulse does not publish or aggregate those choices as social proof. Read the complete privacy notice.
